Client Information Privacy Policy

The Realty Exchange Inc. ("The Realty Exchange") has created this Client and Web Site Visitor Information Privacy Policy to show its firm commitment to the privacy of your information and so that you, as a client of The Realty Exchange, will be aware of the uses made of your client information by The Realty Exchange

1.  Confidential.  In general, all client information provided to The Realty Exchange by its employees and associates is treated as confidential and The Realty Exchange uses its best efforts to keep such information confidential and prevent unauthorized use. 

2.  The Realty Exchange Client Communications.  From time to time, The Realty Exchange will use your preferred contact information to send you client communications and publications.  For example, we may need to access and use your preferred mailing address to send you publications or general informational updates.  “Preferred contact information” as used in this section and the remainder of this privacy policy is the information pertaining to your name, email address, mailing address, telephone and facsimile numbers which you submitted to us on one of our web forms as the preferred contact information to receive communications.  For example, you may have indicated your business address as your preferred mailing address and your home telephone number as your preferred telephone number.

3.  Member Requests.  From time to time, you may contact The Realty Exchange and make requests.  In order to respond to your request, we may need to access and use your client information.  For example, we may need to access your preferred mailing address to send you the information you requested.

4.  Third Parties.  From time to time, The Realty Exchange may also make your preferred contact information available to third parties who will need to do work on behalf of The Realty Exchange related to a business transaction you have contracted with The Realty Exchange to perform. Under no circumstances will we intentionally make available your personal home addresses or telephone number to third parties unless you indicated these as your preferred contact information. 

5.  Request from the Public.  If the public contacts The Realty Exchange and requests information regarding one of its clients, in no event will we provide personal information to the public, such as your home address and telephone number, unless required by a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the public.

6.  Orders; Credit Card Information.  The Realty Exchange sells various real estate related informational products (e.g. publications) and services to its clients.  In order to process and complete orders, we may need to access your client information, such as your name, company name, address, state and zip code.  This information will only be used to process your order (i.e. ship and mail your order) and to send you information regarding updates to the products or services you purchased.  If you pay for your order by credit card, we will need to ask you for your credit card number and expiration date, which will be used solely to complete your order and otherwise kept confidential.

7.  Choice/Opt Out.  The Realty Exchange recognizes the importance of your privacy.  If you do not want your client information displayed or used in one or more of the manners described above, please read the following instructions:

To opt out of having your preferred contact information provided to third parties, please email us at: admin@RealtyExchange.org or write us at: 25630 North Lewis Way, Stevenson Ranch, CA 91381, Attn: Opt Out Request.  To insure your request is processed timely and accurately, please provide the following information with your request: first name, last name and telephone number.  The Realty Exchange will process your request as quickly as possible; however, you may continue to receive third party communications until the request is ultimately processed.  The Realty Exchange apologizes in advance for any inconveniences this may cause. 

8.  Corrections/Updates.  If there is client information about you which needs to be corrected or updated, please email us at admin@RealtyExchange.org or write us at 25630 North Lewis Way, Stevenson Ranch, CA 91381 , Attn: Client Records.   Please Note: In order for the correction or update to be permanent, you will need to contact us at (661) 222-7772 and make sure that the correction or update is made in its records as well.

10.  Changes in This Policy.  From time to time, The Realty Exchange may need to change this privacy policy to better meet the needs of its clients.  As such, we reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time.  Such changes may be made without prior notice so we encourage you to periodically check this privacy policy statement for changes that we may make.  Changes to this policy will be effective when posted on The Realty Exchange’s web site unless determined otherwise by The Realty Exchange Management.
